Summer Trip - Day 11 - Gravelines

We packed up and left Phyllis's at about 11.30am, dropping Jenny off at the station on the way. We drove east and stopped at Rye Harbour for lunch, then parked at Rye station and went for a walk round the town.

We walked along the bank of the river for a couple of miles, then back along the road, then had a drink in the Ypres Tower pub.

Then we drove to Dover. We were early so parked in a car park overlooking Dover castle and made dinner: potatoes, tuna and pesto.

We checked in at the Eastern Docks ferry terminal about 10pm and the ferry left at about midnight. After arriving at Dunkirk we drove to an Aire at Gravelines, arriving about 3.30am.
