Summer Trip - Day 15 - Sommand

We packed and left by about 9.30am and drove south. We used the toll road to start with, then the smaller roads. It was quite slow going, lots of hills and roadworks.

On the way we went through the centre of Geneva in Switzerland, crossing the bottom of the lake near the fountain.

We arrived at an Aire at Sommand just before 3pm and had our lunch. There's a public toilet along the road.

We decided to go for a walk to see if Shirley's cold was better, she did very well and we got to the top of Haut Fleury at 1966m (starting about 1400m).

We saw a black squirrel and two deer. Back to the campervan for dinner, pork with aubergines and peppers.
