Summer Trip - Day 36 - Ploumanc'h

Today we walked down the Côte du Granit Rose, the Pink Granite Coast. It was a bit cloudy at first but the sun came out later.

First we looked at an old tidal mill on the bridge just outside the campsite.

Then round through the port of Ploumanc'h. At the next headland the amazing jumbles of pink granite boulders and other formations started.

Round every corner was a new sight. As we walked further it got sunnier and more people came out onto the path.

We walked down through the town of Perros-Guirec and on to Pointe Chateau, a castle-like headland.

On the way back we went inland, first past a church and then through a chestnut forest.

As it was now very sunny we went to the supermarket and bought barbecue food for later, sausages and burgers, which we had with the rest of the pita bread.
