After 18km we arrived at the end, and had our lunch at the quay then walked round the harbour.
We then cycled to the other side of the river and visited the Nautical Museum. This was very interesting, you could go aboard many of the old boats. There was also an indoor part with sailing and fishing based exhibits.
Douarnenez was once very big in the sardine canning industry.
It started raining, so we hung around for a while waiting for it to stop. Eventually it slowed a bit, so we set off but we did get a bit wet.
After driving back to the site we found it was very busy and at one point we were asked if we would share our spot with another van. We asked if that meant we'd get it for half price and she quickly went and asked someone else!
For dinner we had raclette and salad.
