Summer Trip - Day 33 - Chateauneuf-du-Faou

The weather wasn't looking too good today, so we decided to do some washing. There were machines at the local Leclerc supermarket so we went there and washed and dried two loads.

After this we visited Chateau Trevalez which was only a few miles from the town. This was very worthwhile, the grounds were extensive and the castle looked good on the outside.

Some of the greenhouses were in a poor state.

The castle itself had been renovated.

Inside, some was in good condition but other bits had WW2 bomb damage still.

As part of the visit we got shown round its dairy farm, which was fairly interesting but all in French and dragged on a bit.

At the end we had to walk back to the car park in pouring rain. We went back to the site and had chilli and rice for dinner.
