Summer Trip - Day 26 - Carnac

We left the site and drove on, stopping for provisions at the supermarket. Then on to Carnac where we found a spot at the Aire in town.

We walked through the town and went to the Tourist Information where we established that there were Bastille Day fireworks on at the beach in the evening.

We walked down to the seafront and did a bit of a coastal walk.

We passed the 16th century Chapelle De Saint Colomban, which has graffiti depicting English galleons.

After a rest in the campervan we walked up and round the thousands of standing stones just north of the town.

Back at the campervan Scott made Keema Peas for dinner. Later we walked down to the beach where there were Bastille Day celebrations, live music playing and locals dancing traditionally.

After dark there were fireworks.

Back at the van we confirmed what we were starting to suspect, the leisure battery was no longer holding a charge, so we're going to have to source a new one.
