We left the Ingolstadt site and drove to visit the Dachau concentration camp, which is just north of Munich.
We walked round the museum, barracks and grounds and read all the stories. It's quite a moving place to visit, even though it wasn't an actual extermination camp like Auschwitz or Bergen-Belsen.
When we left we headed for the site we'd chosen in Munich, Wohnwagenstellplatz am Neubruch. We wanted to book in for 3 nights, but they would only let us stay for 1 as they said they were fully booked for a fortnight from tomorrow when the crowds start arriving for the Euros football tournament. We had hoped we were early enough to not be affected by it, but so be it. It was 27 euros for 1 night.
We went for a short walk but there wasn't much to see in the local area. For dinner there we had a barbecue of burgers, courgette, peppers and tomatoes.
