We drove out of the mountains to Brannenburg station where we used the toilet and considered getting the mountain train up. We decided against it as it was quite expensive and visibility wasn't going to be too good.
We drove on to Tegernsee, and after a bit of driving around found a spot where campervans were allowed to park. We went for a walk round the edge of the lake then had an ice cream.
We drove on to Tennsee campsite and parked in the stellplatz just outside, which was cheaper than staying on the main site but let you use all the facilities. It's quite a busy site, with a few English speaking people around. It's 27 euros per night.
We went for a walk round the nearby lake, which has good views of the higher hills just a bit south of here.
For dinner we had a barbecue of burgers, courgette, peppers and mushrooms.
