The ferry docked in Rotterdam just before 9am, and we drove off without much of a delay. We had planned to go first to see the windmills at Kinderdijk, but after driving there we found there was nowhere to park within a reasonable distance, so decided to give it a miss.
We went to a Lidl for some shopping, then drove on into Germany for a few hours. We stopped in a town called Bad Camberg just north of Frankfurt. It has a free stellplatz right in the middle of town, you only have to pay 50c for water.
The old town centre has a lot of medieval buildings, we had a nice walk round.
We found a pub called Bistro99 so had a beer, then went back to the van where we made Thai red prawn curry for dinner.
