We left the site in the morning and drove to Asda in Bodmin. We bought some shopping and had a cooked breakfast. They got the order comically wrong though, we ended up with 5 fried eggs between us!
We drove on to the Lizard peninsula, where we were meeting friends to share a cottage for the weekend in Newtown St Martin. Nobody else was there when we arrived but the keys were in a key box so we let ourselves in, unpacked and had showers.
A littler later Pete and Jenny arrived. After they had unpacked their car we went to the local pub, the Prince of Wales, which was all of 50 metres away and very good.
Before too long the rest of our friends arrived - Barry, Tamsin and Rachel.
We all went back to the cottage where Tamsin made dinner, red lentil Bolognese with roast vegetables and brocolli.
