In the morning we started to head for home. We stopped at Glenfinnan and first had a stroll round the monument and the head of Loch Sheil.
We then walked up to the viewpoint overlooking the Glenfinnan Viaduct.
There were lots of people there, and it seemed they were expecting the Jacobite Express steam train from Fort William to pass over the viaduct.
However it became apparent that it wasn't coming (it doesn't run at the weekend at this time of year) so all we saw was a normal train from the other direction. The people then started to disperse.
We stopped at Fort William for some fuel and to have lunch then headed south, going via Scott's mum and dad in Falkirk on the way.
