Ardnamurchan - Day 11

In the morning we walked from the car park down a sandy path to the lovely bay below.

Then we drove on to Malaig and parked in the car park on the way into town. We had a stroll round, and watched the Skye ferry come in.

We bought some provisions in the Co-op and went back to the campervan. While we were there the Jacobite Express steam train came in.

We decided to go on a boat cruise across to Inverie so bought our tickets and then had our lunch at the harbour. Inverie can only be reached by boat or a 17 mile hike. At 2.15 we got on the boat. On the way out we saw one seal.

We landed at Inverie where we had one hour ashore. We walked up to a viewpoint then back down a cycle track, then we had a pint at the Old Forge Pub, the remotest pub in Britain.

We caught the boat back, and saw some porpoises on the way.

Once back we drove again to the same car park we'd used last night. For dinner we had corned beef hash.
