We walked the coastal path north of Calpe today. It was mostly a very easy path, though quite narrow in places and with some climbing over rocks at one point.
It was an out and back walk, we stopped at a beach at the far end and had our lunch sitting on the rocks. On the way back we wanted some ice cream, so we went inland a bit to find a supermarket.
Later on we left Oscar in the van and went out to the daily fish auction that takes place in the port when the fishing boats come in.
In the auction itself things happened really quickly, with the fish and seafood bought by local restaurants etc., and going for what seemed like very cheap prices.
We left and had a drink at one of the bars at the port.
Later for dinner we had chicken escalopes, flat beans, carrots and potatoes.
