We packed up and left the site in the morning. Jenny and Gordon's van had a battery problem and wouldn't start initially, but was fixed with a bit of tinkering.
We headed up the A1(M), A66 and M6, then stopped for some lunch at a service station on the M74, a Marks and Spencer meal deal.
There were no issues on the journey, and we arrived home about 3pm.
