We had time today to explore Eindhoven. We caught the bus into the centre than walked to a park that had a couple of lakes in it. There are quite a lot of art installations in the city, we passed giant skittles.
We kept walking further out then caught a bus back to the centre. There was a market there that we had a look round and checked out some fast food outlets for later.
We saw the main church, and also a street with loads of bars in it that were all closed, obviously it would very different later in the day.
We went for a drink in an outside bar that advertised 100 different beers. It was quite expensive though.
For our lunch we bought some frites with mayonnaise, then at a market stall some fried chicken. This was to be our main meal of the day as we didn't plan to eat much on the ferry.
We walked through a road tunnel that was bizarrely decorated with Monty Python's Ministry of Silly Walks.
We caught the bus back to the Park and Ride, then left on our drive to the ferry port in Rotterdam. We got there about 4 and took Oscar to the pet check-in at the office. All was in order and we then queued up for boarding in the campervan.
It all went smoothly. We left Oscar in the cabin and went for a drink at the Sky Bar. Then later had some wine and crisps in the cabin before going to bed.
