Andalucia - Day 8 - Caños de Meca

The tyre was still OK on the car, we think it was a false alarm. We drove to Los Caños de Meca, which was only about 15km away, and parked in the street.

We were going on a circular coastal walk. First we went up through a pine forest to a tower.
There were good views down to Trafalgar lighthouse.

Then we headed south towards Barbate, then back along the coast. We had lunch overlooking high cliffs and the sea.

Once we got back to the starting point, we decided to walk a bit further, out to Trafalgar lighthouse. It was further than it looked, and made the day's walk more than 25km.
The road out to the lighthouse was partly covered in sand drifts.

We then walked back towards the car and came across an idyllic beach bar in Caños de Meca. It had been hot and sunny all day, it was a great end to the walk.

On the way home we went to Lidl for provisions. For dinner we had burger, pork steaks, chips and vegetables.
