Germany - Day 6

We checked out the hotel and walked up to the zoo station, then caught the S-Bahn train out to Schoenefeld Airport, where we were picking up our hire car. It was a black Citroen C3 from Europcar.

We then drove north to our next destination, Rieps in the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern region. On the way we stopped at Lidl for provisions.

It was an uneventful but long drive, we arrived at the AirBNB apartment at about 5.30pm. We were met by the host Andreas who showed us round the accommodation and garden.

It's very well equipped, the kitchen in particular has everything we need.

Rieps is a quiet and picturesque village, only a few houses, no shops, bars etc.

We had a stroll round the village and made pizza and garlic bread for our dinner.
