Northern Ireland - Day 6

We decided to take a trip to Rathlin Island today. First we caught the bus to Ballycastle then went to buy our ticket for the 10am ferry as foot passengers.

We walked all the way to the west of the island, mostly on a quiet road. One thing we've noticed is that there are a lot of fuchsia bushes as hedges everywhere.

We got to the end of the island where there's a seabird centre, and rocks and cliffs where they nest. However it's the wrong time of year and there wasn't much to see, the centre was closed.

We walked back to the ferry port and village and bought a coffee, then caught the ferry back. The wind was much stronger and it was a very choppy journey.

Back at Ballycastle it was raining and we were cold, so we went for a pint in the Angler's Arms. We then caught the bus back to site.

Later for dinner we had pizza.
