France - Day 10

We awoke to find there was a large pool of water on our canopy, and it had almost collapsed. No damage done though, but Scott got soaked clearing the water off.

We left the site and drove to Sarlat, parking in a free car park where we intended to stay the night. We walked into the town, it started raining a bit.

We went to Tourist Information and got a map with a walking tour, which we then followed. It took us round all the historic buildings and churches etc.

On the way round the rain stopped, so we went for lunch at a snack bar. We both had Croque Monsieur.

After finishing the walk we went back to the van. It was very sunny, so we moved the van to a space that had some shade.

After spending a bit of time in the van we left Oscar at home and went out to dinner. We had a drink at a bar first, then went to one of the very many traditional restaurants.

We both had ham, walnut and goats cheese salad. Then Shirley had steak while Scott had confit de canard.

To finish we had walnut cake and raspberry panacota.
