We did a marked walk from the site, the "gorge and viaduct walk". First we went down into the gorge, some of it was very steep and narrow.
Then it went steeply up to a historic old railway track, and followed this to the village of Kappel.
On the way back we went into Lenzkirch to a supermarket and bought some stuff for a barbecue later.
Later we had the barbecue, burgers with bacon and cheese, and spiral sausage.
