We walked from the site today, first across the river to the town, then uphill into the woods and along the skyline above the Saar.
It was a very well marked walk, and nice varied scenery. We saw a red squirrel, and picked lots of wild cherries.
We had lunch by a smaller river in a grassy valley on the other side of the woods, before climbing back over to the starting point.
We had pizza for dinner back at the campervan.
