We were leaving the site today, so packed everything up. We drove north to Stranraer and parked by the port. We went into to the Royal Cafe and had a full cooked breakfast, which was very good.
We had a stroll round the port, which was mostly closed as the ferry service has moved up the coast to Cairnryan.
We then drove north and stopped at a car park just outside Girvan. We walked up Byne Hill, which has great views to Ailsa Craig, though it was quite hazy.
We had lunch on the top, it was very sunny.
After a steep descent we drove on to our campsite, the C&CC site in the grounds of Culzean Castle. It's a lovely setting.
For dinner we had another barbecue, burgers on rolls with vegetables. There was a nice sunset.
