Today was our day for climbing Ben Nevis. We left at 9 and set off
up the path at the Youth Hostel.
It was a bit cloudy but not wet nor windy, so not a bad day for climbing.
The path was quite busy, over the course of the day we saw loads of other people. We made good time and were at the summit just after 12. It was in the clouds unfortunately so no views.
We had our lunch next to the ruined observatory, then set off back down, getting back to the campervan about 3.30.
After resting a
while we walked the short distance to a different pub, the Glen Nevis
Inn and had a pint and used their WiFi. Back at the campervan we had
chilli and rice for dinner.
