On some of the fish stalls they'd obviously spent a lot of time setting up their arrangements.
Then we caught the Metro to Piraeus port. We bought a sesame seed pretzel from a street seller and then walked round, looking at all the ferries, cruise boats and yachts.
We walked as far as Faliro, then caught a tram further down the coast to a beach. We bought some bread and cheese at a supermarket and ate lunch on the beach.
At about 3 we got the tram and Metro back to Athens and went to the apartment to shower and rest.
We went out for dinner to Food Str which was a recommended restaurant. It was very much a fast food place, we had burgers which were OK, for 16 euros including drinks.
After this we went for a drink at a couple of bars, we were surprised how busy the bars were for a Monday night.
