North East Scotland day 2

After showers and breakfast we went for a short walk round the bay with Amber.

Then we left Amber in the campervan and walked up to the main street to get a bus to Portknockie. The sun was coming out. At Portknockie we first walked down to the harbour.

We then started walking along the coast, and at the other side on the village we came to Bow Fiddle Rock.

We carried on along the coast, seeing spectacular cliffs and rocks, gorse bushes and three deer.

We came to Cullen Bay and the town of Cullen itself, where we stopped to have a coffee at the harbour.

There was an interesting pet cemetery at the east edge on the town.

We carried on along the coast, eventually coming to the deserted Sunnyside beach where we stopped for lunch.

A little bit further along was the ruined Findlater castle.

We then passed the village of Sandend before eventually arriving back at Portsoy.

We got Amber and walked up to Portsoy Ice Cream shop then into the park.

After this we went back to the campervan where we made dinner - chicken, potatoes and vegetables. Later we watched a film.
