Coniston

It was election day today, we had already voted by post before we left home.

We looked at the weather, more rain was moving in from the south so we decided to cut our losses and head north. It looked like we'd get a day or so of good weather in the Lake District. We booked into Coniston Park Coppice site and drove there, stopping for food supplies then lunch en route. We arrived about 5 in the sunshine.

We made dinner -  chicken and cannelini beans. Then walked along a track to the Ship Inn, which was very quiet but had good wifi.

We then went home to watch the election results come in on TV.
