Shirley was slightly better today, but now Scott now a bit feverish. Weather still pretty poor, wet and windy.

But went to the Big Pit mining museum in Blaenavon anyway, as we weren't likely to be going for a walk.

The mine and the exhibition were very interesting.

We also visited Rhymney brewery which is also in Blaenavon, had a tour and a half pint.

We came back via the Red Lion pub in Llangynidr, a very nice and dog-friendly place.

We then drove back for dinner, tuna and tomato pasta.
