Gower

Today we were going to Worms Head, which is only accessible at low tide, so we left early at 9.

Since Amber wouldn't be able to do the whole walk, Scott drove ahead with her to Rhossili and parked there and walked back to meet the rest of the party who'd set off direct from the bunkhouse.

It was very cloudy with low visibility.

When we all got to Worms Head some people didn't want to go all the way out over the rocks so we split up a bit.

As we made our way out, visibility got better till by the time we got to the end the sun came out.

We saw guillemots, possibly puffins, and some seals.

We had a pint at the Worms Head Hotel, then some ice cream. Scott went with everyone else only to the top of the first hill, then went back to the car park and drove back with Amber. Shirley went with the rest of the group for the long walk back to the bunkhouse.

Dinner was in the Kings Head pub, Shirley had fish and chips and Scott had a burger.

We had gone in cars from the bunkhouse so didn't have to walk home.
