Today was the long drive from Clearwater to Vancouver, about 480km or the best part of 300 miles. We stopped in Hope for coffee on the way.
For the first part the roads were very quiet, but got busier the nearer we got to Vancouver. We got caught in a big tailback because a dump truck had got wedged in a bridge on Highway 1.
It was mid afternoon when we got there, so went to visit the Museum of Anthropology.
Then went for a walk along Wreck Beach. It was hot and sunny all day.
We checked in to our accommodation, the Maple House B&B on Maple Street in the Kitsilano district. Went out for dinner at a local Mexican Restaurant, Las Margaritas.
