Later we took the path under the cable car track to the top of Sulphur Mountain (2,451m, 8,041ft). Great views from the top.
After walking down we bathed in the Banff Upper Hot Springs, an outdoor pool fed by natural hot springs at a constant temperature of 38C.
Then we visited the Banff Springs Hotel, a huge hotel built when the railway first reached this area in 1888. I think we were a bit underdressed!
Made our own dinner in the lodge, steak and home fries.
