We drove to the town of Javea on the coast, and parked near the fish market. We were too late to see any selling going on though.
After walking round the harbour we walked up a track to a lighthouse at the top.
From there we walked along the ridge to a watchtower on the other side, which looked down onto the resort town of Denia.
We then cut across to the other side of the peninsula, where there is a row of disused windmills.
From there we went down through the rich suburbs of Javea back to the port.
The walk was about 14km. We drove home via the supermarket, and later had vegetables and pasta for dinner.
