England and Wales - Day 21

We left Stow and drove to the Dover Hill car park, still in the Cotswolds. We did a circular walk, first along the Cotswold Way and Mile Drive.

We arrived at Broadway Tower with great views to the west.

We walked down into the town of Broadway itself.

From there there was a disused railway track to the village of Willersey, very overgrown with nettles! At Willersey there seemed to be some kind of scarecrow/dummy competition going on.

We made our way back up to Dover Hill. At times the path was squeezed between nettles and an electric fence!

We decided to drive on to Kenilworth near Coventry, and again found that the rugby club ran a sort of camp site. Facilities not quite as good as Stow but it's only £5 per night.

We went for a walk into town, saw the ruined castle then had drinks at a couple of pubs in the old town, the Old Bakery and the Famous Virgins & Castle.

Back at the van we had tuna and pasta for dinner.
