Algarve - Day 9

The breakfast included with hostel was quite decent, cereal, yoghurt, ham, cheese, toast, juice, coffee etc.

We asked at reception for a recommendation for a dentist to see to Scott's tooth. They recommended Taviclinica, within walking distance across town.

We went there, it was a walk-in clinic covering everything, doctors, dentists, etc. We were seen quite quickly and an appointment was made with a dentist for midday.

We walked around town for a bit, it was sunnier than the last time.

We went back to the clinic at 12 and Scott got a temporary filling, it was a very good service.

We drove up the coast to Cacela Velha, which has a fort and a church overlooking the beach.

We walked down to the beach and along to the next fishing village.

The tide was fully in so we couldn't walk up the coast like we wanted to, so we drove on to Manta Rota then walked out the sandy peninsula as far as we could go.

We had a drink at bar near a big campervan site, then went back to the hostel.

We made vegetables and pasta for dinner.
