Algarve - Day 1

We drove to Glasgow, parked at Flying Scot in Paisley and got the shuttle bus to the airport. We had a pint at Wetherspoons while we waited, the flight was about 40 minutes late taking off.

We landed at about 17:15, and eventually found the Travelrent car hire desk. The car is a white Seat Ibiza.

We drove into Faro and found the apartment, and a parking place in the street outside. The Airbnb host messaged to say he was stuck in traffic so we went for a drink in a nearby student bar.

Eventually he sent his cleaner to let us in, the apartment is nice and has everything we need.

After a little unpacking we went for a walk into town, the centre is about 20 minutes away. We had a drink near the harbour, then a burger at Hamburguesa near the apartment.
