Oberer and Zwolferkopf

Today is rest day from Ramblers walks. We decide to use our cable car ticket to go to up at the end of the valley. There's a little cloud in the morning but after it clears it's hot and sunny all day.

We get the Wanderbus and the underground to Serfaus, but the cable car we intend to use isn't running today.

We take the Sunliner cable car instead, to about 1800m. Then we walk straight up to the peak of Oberer and then on to Zwolferkopf, which both happen to be the same height - 2595m (8517 ft).

Zwolferkopf has a viewing platform in a spectacular position.

Shirley's knee is hurting a bit, so rather than risk it with a long walk down we walk along the ridge to the Fisser Joch cable car station to get the cable car down.

We go for a drink in Fiss then get the cable car back to Ladis.

After going to the supermarket we go to the spa area for a swim then into the outdoor hot tub.

Dinner tonight is lamb and vegetarian parcel. Afterwards a few of us go into town to see the local band on an open air stage.
