Lahnkopf

We get a coach to the valley behind Pfunds, There's a beautiful meadow in Pfundser Tschey and we walk up it to the Platzalm hut for coffee. It's warm but quite cloudy, and the forecast is for thunderstorms later in the afternoon.

Then we start the steep climb up to the summit of Lahnkopf at 2471m (8107 ft) where we have lunch.

Part of the way down the other side we come to the Gschneier Alm hut, where some of us have a drink.

The final destination is the Berghof Inn, and as we approach it's really starting to look like it might rain soon. However we get there with about 10 minutes to spare! There's a massive hailstorm which would have been pretty painful if we'd been caught out in it.

We get the coach back to the hotel. We have to pack as it's the end of the Ramblers part of our holiday.

Dinner tonight is fish and risotto and vegetable lasagne.
