Dunbar and Norfolk - Day 1

We left home in the morning and headed for Dunbar. On the way we stopped at Tyningham Beach to have our lunch and a walk. The small car park was very busy, we got the very last space.

After our sandwiches we went for a circular walk, first up the coast with views to the Bass Rock, then back inland to the car park.

We then drove on to the Camping and Caravanning Club site just to the south of Dunbar. We set up, our pitch is right next to a ruined tower.

We went for a short walk down to the nearest beach.

Later we walked in to Dunbar to meet up with Barry. It's quite a long walk as you have to detour all the way round a golf course.

In Dunbar we first went for a drink in the Eagle pub. While there we heard from Barry that the place we had booked for dinner was closed because of Covid-19 isolation by the staff.

Instead Barry came into the town centre to meet us. We went for a walk, got fish and chips for dinner then had a couple of drinks in the Volunteer Arms. We took a taxi back to the site at the end of the night.
