Later we decided to drive north to Nesebar, an old town on a peninsula about 40km away. It's very near the big resort of Sunny Beach. On the way we drove through some torrential rain.
We parked in the town car park and had a walk around the edge of the peninsula. The rain had stopped by then.
We then went into the old town. There are busy tourist streets, and loads of old churches, some of them ruined.
We went down to the harbour and watched some fish, whitebait, being landed from a boat.
We then had an ice cream and drove home. For dinner that night we had Mediterranean pork burgers and spicy potatoes with salad.
