July trip day 3 - Alnwick

Our destination today was a site in Alnwick, but we decided to stop at Berwick-upon-Tweed on the way. We packed up and left the site at about 10.30. We drove to Berwick and found a Tesco to stock up on food and fuel.

We then went into town and found a free car park at the sea front. From the Tourist Information we got details of the wall walk and the Lowry walk, so had a nice educational walk around the town. The weather is lovely, mostly hot and sunny.

Lunch today was from Gregg's :-) , then we drove to Chain Bridge Honey Farm where we went into their honey exhibition and museum.

We also walked down to the Chain Bridge itself,

We then drove to Alnwick and found the site, East Cawledge Farm, another Caravan Club CL, and set up - we found we had a great wifi signal here.

We had a walk into town but it was longer than we expected and Amber was very tired, so we had a drink at the first pub we came across then went back to the campervan for dinner, mince and potatoes
