July trip day 2 - Coldingham

Lovely sunny day today, got up and had breakfast outside.

After breakfast we drove to St Abbs Head, for a walk round the National Nature Reserve. We walked along the coast to the lighthouse, seeing lots of sea birds, rabbits and what could have been dolphins out at sea.

We walked back via the small loch and had lunch watching the ducks and swans.

After returning to the campervan we drove to St Abbs village where we walked round the harbour, seeing fish, jellyfish and all the fishing boats and lobster pots. Had coffee and cake in the cafe there.

We then went on the "heritage walk" round Coldingham village, which was very lovely, following the various streams and seeing many historical buildings and settlements.

After a quick pint at the pub we bought pork, burgers and sausages from the local butcher then went back to the site for a barbecue.
