South Coast Trip day 2 - Oxford

After breakfast we walked with Amber along the Thames path into Oxford. The weather was very sunny to start with.

As we neared Oxford there were lots of boathouses for all the college rowing clubs.

We spend the day wandering the streets of Oxford looking at the sights. We went in to Wadham College after the security guard offered to look after Amber.

We went into the Natural History museum and its fascinating annexe, the Pitt Rivers museum.

Shrunken heads.

We visited a couple of old pubs, the Turf Tavern and the King's Arms. Also climbed to the top of Carfax Tower.

Later it got a bit cloudy and we caught the bus back to the site, going to Tesco for some food on the way back.

We went for a short run before dinner, which was feta and walnut salad.
