Coldingham - Day 1

We left in the morning and first drove to Haddington, parking near a bus stop. We caught a bus to East Linton.

Once we got there we found the path along the River Tyne, and started to head upstream back to our starting point. It was a very nice path, through countryside with views south to Traprain Law.

We passed Hailes Castle on the other side and stopped for a sandwich there.

Further on we came across an old water mill that had been converted into a house.

As we neared Haddington we left the river and visited Amisfield Walled Garden. This was very big and impressive.

We returned to the riverside path and eventually we reached Haddington

We went to Tesco to buy a couple of things, then drove on to the site at Coldingham.

It's the Coldingham Bay site, and is a huge static caravan site, with a fairly small touring bit.

We had sweet and sour chicken with rice for dinner. Later we went for a walk in the woods across the road.
