Tenerife - Day 3

Sunny in the morning again. We drove to Taganana for a walk, parking next to a church.

The first part of the walk was uphill past grape vine terraces then through pine forest to a pass.

Then down an easy pass to the village of Afur.

From there we went down the Tamadite gorge, which was fairly spectacular. Surprisingly it had quite a lot of water.

At the bottom was a beach with a lone finca. We had our lunch there.

The walk then followed the coast back to the start, it was very undulating.

We passed through a tiny wine village which still had some old winemaking equipment.

Back at Taganana we went to a bar for a beer.

At the apartment we sat out for a drink in our courtyard.

Later we went to the supermarket for pizza, croquettes and ice cream.
