We left the house about 10.30am and headed south. We made a couple of stops at service stations on the M6, then the supermarket at Eccleshall for some provisions.
We arrived at our wild camping spot, Loyndon Moss nature reserve car park, just before 5pm.
First we went for a walk round the reserve, and along the Shropshire Union Canal towpath for a bit.
For dinner we had chicken curry that we'd brought with us. We had a good night, though the adjacent A519 never really got quiet.
