From the site at Tayport we walked along the coast to Tentsmuir forest. It was quite a chilly day and visibility wasn't great, but Oscar had a great time off-lead running in the forest.
We went to the dunes and coast which is a National Nature Reserve. There are seals there, but they were so far away we could hardly see them.
We went back over the dunes to the forest, where there is an old ice house. We had our lunch there.
Later back at the van we planned our dinner. Shirley's birthday had been on Tuesday, but none of the takeaways were open then. The Indian restaurant, Tayport Curry Club, had great reviews so we took time to choose our meal and place our order.
But unfortunately it turned out to be closed due to unforeseen circumstances, a big disappointment.
We settled for a chicken and chips and mixed kebab delivered from Besties Fish & Chips. This was fine, if nothing spectacular.
