We left home in the morning in the campervan and headed up the A9.
We stopped near Dunkeld and parked in the Cally car park. We went for a walk in the sunshine towards Loch of the Lowes. Unfortunately dogs weren't allowed near the visitor centre, but we stopped for lunch at the side of the loch. We could see the osprey nest, but didn't see any birds.
On the way back we passed loads of bluebells in the woods.
We went into Dunkeld itself and sat at a table in the sunshine next to the Tay.
We then carried on driving, to our site at Glenmore camp site just outside Aviemore. After setting up we went for a walk down to the side of Loch Morlich. It was still very warm, there were people swimming and sunbathing.
Later for dinner we had ratatouille and couscous.
