Scottish Borders - Day 1

We left home in the campervan after lunch, and drove to the Camping and Caravanning Club site at Jedburgh. It's less than a mile outside the town, and it's a pleasant walk by the river to get there.

In the town we had a look at Jedburgh Abbey, and the castle.

We'd read that the butcher in the High Street, Briggsys, did very good steak pies, so we bought a large one for £7.20.

Back at the site later we had the steak pie with new potatoes and peas. It was great, lots of big chunks of succulent meat.
