We packed up and left the site in the morning. We'd booked a site just outside Warrington to stop half-way home, but the M5 and M6 were extremely slow and busy and it took much longer than we expected.
We stopped at Tesco in Worcester for petrol.
We finally arrived at the site near the village of Culcheth at about 6.30. We had grilled steak and vegetables for dinner then walked to the Culcheth Arms for a drink.
