Devon and Cornwall day 12 - Redruth and Townshend

Some more improvement in Amber today, she was able to take a couple of steps. We packed up and left the site, and drove to Redruth where we stopped at Morrisons for petrol and supplies.

While there we visited the East Pool Mine, which is run by the National Trust. This is an old copper and tin mine, one of the many that used to be in the area.

We then drove on to the next site, which was Gwel-An-Bal near the village of Townshend. We set up the awning and tried to get Amber to walk a little more.

Dinner was mince and potatoes.
