We walked from the site today, down the side of the Fleet estuary to Sandgreen beach, which is just beyond a static caravan and chalet site.
The first part of the walk went through a nature reserve then down farm tracks.
The beach itself was pretty spectacular.
There was a selfie frame to photograph your dog.
We carried on walking further down towards Carrick Point, and had our lunch on a nice secluded beach.
On the way back we took a different route and passed a folly known as The Temple.
It was beautifully sunny all day and we walked over 18 km.
Later back at the site we had ratatouille for dinner.
